Dr. Roberts grew up and attended high school in Richmond, Virginia. He attended undergraduate school at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN from 1967 to 1971. He then attended medical school at the University of Virginia from 1971 to 1975. From 1975 to 1980, Dr. Roberts completed his internship, residency and cardiology training at the Ohio State University. He relocated to Charlotte to join the Nalle Clinic in 1980. He was one of the original founders of Mid Carolina Cardiology in 1986. In 1997, Dr. Roberts started his own practice of Cardiology. Dr. Qureshi joined Dr. Roberts in 2006. Dr. Roberts is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular diseases. He is an interventional cardiologist with extensive experience in Cardiac Catheterization, Coronary intervention including angioplasty and stenting, and Cardiac Pacemaker implantation, as well as non-invasive cardiac procedures such as echocardiography, stress testing, and evaluation and follow-up of general cardiac diseases such as hypertension, coronary artery disease, abnormal blood lipids, arrythmias, heart murmurs, and valvular heart disease. He was the first director of the catheterization labs at Presbyterian Hospital, and is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology.  Dr. Roberts was recently recognized by US News and World Report as one of the top Cardiologists in the Charlotte area.  Dr. Roberts is married and has 3 children.

Dr. Qureshi was born in Rawalpindi, Pakistan and attended Medical school at the University of Karachi, graduating in 1989. From there he came to the United States, and completed a combined Internal Medicine and Pediatrics internship and residency at St. Vincent's Hospital and Medical center in New York City, followed by an adult Cardiovascular fellowship at St. Vincent's Hospital, finishing in 1998. He then entered the private practice of Cardiology, initially in Orangeburg, SC. He moved to Charlotte in 2002 to practice with The Heart Center of Charlotte, and joined Mecklenburg Heart Specialists in 2006. He is board certified in Interventional Cardiology, Cardiovascular Medicine, and Internal Medicine. He has expertise in Cardiac catheterization, Peripheral vascular intervention, Coronary intervention, Pacemaker implantation, and Non-invasive cardiac evaluation and follow-up. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology, and a Fellow of the Society of Cardiac Angiography and Intervention. Dr. Qureshi is married and has 2 children.

Both doctors have privileges at Presbyterian Hospital, CMC-Mercy, and CMC-Pineville. Dr. Qureshi and Dr. Roberts are members of the North Carolina Medical Society, Mecklenburg County Medical Society, and the American College of Cardiology. Dr. Qureshi is also a member of the Society of Cardiac Angiography and Intervention.
